Westerners Set for NECBL All-Star Game

It is that time again: the NECBL All-Star Game is right around the corner, and the Danbury
Westerners will be well represented among the league's top talent. After standout performances
throughout the season, several Westerners have earned the opportunity to take the field and
showcase their talents on one of the league's biggest stages.

Starting at First Base for the South Division is Kyle Garbowski. The senior from Quinnipiac
University has cemented himself as one of the best players in the NECBL this summer. The
New Fairfield native hit .307 with a .409 on-base percentage and ranked among the NECBL's
top five in hits with 35. His consistent production at the plate has made him a key part of the
Westerners' lineup and earned him a spot among the league's best.

Representing the Westerners as a reserve outfielder for the South Division is Jack Lutte. The
senior from Denison has been electric for the Westerners this summer. Posting a .295 average
with a .525 slugging percentage and ranks among the NECBL’s top ten in home runs 4. His
power has made him one of the most dangerous bats in the NECBL this summer.

Fighting for a spot as a fan-vote selection is Aidan Stern. The senior from Trinity College has
been one of the most consistent batters for the Westerners this season, posting a .449 on-base
percentage with seven extra-base hits while ranking second among NECBL batters with 29

Finally, representing the Westerners in the booth for the South Division is Westerners
play-by-play broadcaster Luca Mucciardi. The senior from the University of Miami has separated
himself from the pack as one of the best and most talented broadcasters in the NECBL. His
voice has become a staple of Westerners baseball.

These Westerners will now head to Maine to represent the South Division in the NECBL All-Star
Game, where they will showcase their talents alongside the league’s best.
